Steven Anderson Law was raised on a farm in Iowa and received his bachelors degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 1998 he founded the ReadWest Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the awareness of Western literature. He is the author of four novels, including Yuma Gold (Berkley, 2011), several short stories and numerous newspaper articles. He now lives in the Missouri Ozarks with his son, Tegan, a Siamese cat named Cowboy, and a Shih Tzu named Obi Wan-Kenobe.
