"A Killing Strikes Home" by Paffi S. Flood flowed so well I couldn't put it down. She described Centerville in such detail that it came alive along with the characters. I loved the exchanges between Naomi and her twin sister Penelope. The author did a great job showing how the sisters investigated their parents' murder to bring about justice. It's nice to read about powerful young women in charge showing intelligence and courage. The pace was just right, no dragging anywhere. This was an enjoyable read full of real emotion and the right dose of humor. -- Amazon Review by Coffee Drinking Art Lover
"The third installment in the Mystery, Ink. series, A Killing Strikes Home, is a solid hit. Naomi Dotson and her twin Penelope are in the forefront in this Centerville mystery, and like the two mysteries before, they have their hands full. We learn more about the town, meet more of the players, and get to know the two young ladies while they deal with a family crisis and hunt down some bad guys. These are young, strong women; they're heroic ladies who are intelligent and crafty, yet quirky enough to have their own personalities. They broke the mold-they aren't female cops and they aren't damsels in distress. This is a smart mystery with a few twists and some quick wit." -- Amazon Review by writester
