Rolland Love

About the Author

Rolland Love grew up in the Ozark Mountains. He spent his summers swimming and guiding fishermen down the river paddling wooden jon-boats. This environment ultimately motivated him to share his experiences through his writing.

​His short stories and novels have received over (100)  ✭✭✭✭✭ five star reviews, and two of his novels have been serialized in newspapers.

Rolland is the author of Three novels The Blue Hole, River's Edge, and Toe Tags & TNT, and coauthored Homegrown in the Ozarks: Mountain Meals and Memories, a collection of stories and recipes from the depression-era Ozarks of the 1930s - 1950s.

 

He created and presents workshops on how to write your life story, which has been developed into a website called Imastory - http://imastory.com.

Rolland was a re-enactor with the Lewis and Clark bicentennial expedition and played the role of Silas Goodrich, expert fisherman. He created a workshop about the adventure, which he presents to schools, libraries, retirement centers, business and civic groups …
