Goldminds was pleased to have such good response from the 2013 Southwest Missouri Home Education Ministry Conference. Dozens of vendors were on hand to share their curriculum and tools for teachers. Three days of lectures and workshops included two by Goldminds' Curriculum Coordinator Karen Nelson, who spoke on Bringing History to Life, and Literature and Lapbooks.

Missouri Hall of Fame Inductee Releases New Memoir
Ellen Gray Massey, author of over 40 historical novels and personal memoirs, has released a unique collection of letters and commentary that spans generations and even continents! These snapshots of history from a family's viewpoint, as the ‘round robin letters’ made the journey to various brothers and sisters in scattered regions of the nation provide a perfect picture window on events and concerns on the home front of the ‘greatest generation’ when staggering social changes were happening.
