Living in Texas again after many years of travel and residence abroad, and thirty-three years as a professor of English at the University of Arizona, L. D. Clark is the author of fourteen books, including seven novels and three volumes of short fiction. He is also a well-known scholar and critic of the works of D. H. Lawrence and a historian, in particular of Civil War times. He is now at work on a book of reminiscences and commentary on the great changes that have taken place in our world during his long lifetime.
